About Fipl
Fipl is hair and body care built for actual childhood, ages 4 to 12. It's named after the founder's four kids, and it runs on one idea: the small daily stuff, the bath, the detangle, the back of the head you always miss, is where growing up quietly happens. Instead of one flat "kids" aisle, Fipl is made for three stages of childhood, so it can follow the slow handoff from you-wash-them to they-wash-themselves.
No sulfates. No synthetic fragrances. No dyes. pH-balanced for skin that's still figuring itself out. And every ingredient is published with the job it was hired to do with no mystery blends, no "proprietary complex" hiding behind a trademark. If it's in the bottle, you can read why.
But also, most kids' brands talk to a "kid" who doesn't exist: a smudgy all-ages average somewhere between a toddler and a teenager. Fipl is built for three real stages instead, and it talks to the actual kid in the tub: the one learning to rinse the back of their own head, then learning to want to, then learning to do it without anyone asking.

Ingredients
Plant-derived cleansers, real botanical extracts, and a short list where each ingredient earns its spot. The scent comes from five citrus extracts, grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, lime, and orange, never synthetic fragrance. Aloe and jojoba add slip and moisture so washing isn't a fight. Every product publishes its full INCI list with a plain-language reason for each line. No mystery blends.
No synthetic fragrance, ever. The scent is a five-citrus blend: grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, lime, and orange. It's light on purpose, so it won't compete with everything else in the bathroom or set off sensitivities. The Detangler adds small amounts of citronella and rosemary essential oil to that same citrus base. That's the whole fragrance story.
No parabens. No sulfates or phthalates either. Honestly, that's table stakes now, every decent kids' brand leaves these out. The part worth watching is what we put in and why, which is why every ingredient is listed with its job.
We formulate toward the lowest-concern end of the EWG scale, our primary surfactant scores a 1, the best possible. Every ingredient and its function is published on our INCI lists, so you can check each one yourself.

Safety & Skin
Yes. Our products are dermatologist tested on sensitive skin, synthetic fragrance free, dye-free, and fully listed by INCI. If your child has known sensitivities, patch test first and email bubbles@hifipl.com for allergen-specific questions.
Fipl is formulated with eczema-prone skin in mind: no sulfates, synthetic fragrances, or dyes, pH-balanced, and coconut-derived cleansers with a zero irritation score in testing. Eczema is a medical condition and every kid's triggers differ, so patch test first.
Fipl is pH-balanced and made without sulfates or harsh surfactants, so it's gentle around the eye area. We'll stop short of promising a no-tears-ever bath, we respect you too much to oversell, so keep suds out of eyes where you can and rinse with water if any sneaks in.
Our products are topical and made without synthetic fragrance, parabens, phthalates, or dyes, the ingredients people most often want to skip during pregnancy. We're not able to give medical advice, though, so if you're pregnant and want to use them, run the INCI list by your doctor or midwife first.
Our safety testing is done on people, not animals, including 6-week HRIPT patch testing with real volunteers.
