Ingredients
For pH Protection
Why you should care: Your child’s scalp pH naturally shifts throughout childhood—aloe vera keeps it in the healthy range at every stage. It cleanses gently while protecting the barrier that keeps hair healthy, hydrated, and ready for whatever the day brings.
For Adaptive Oil Control
Why you should care: As kids grow, oil production increases—especially in the pre-teen years. Jojoba’s molecular structure mimics the scalp’s natural sebum, helping regulate oil without stripping. It moisturizes dry areas while keeping oily zones balanced, so hair always looks and feels just right.
For Hair Resilience
Why you should care: Hair texture changes dramatically from age 4 to 12, from fine toddler strands to thicker pre-teen hair. Vitamin B5 builds resilience at every stage, quietly working behind the scenes to keep hair strong, smooth, and ready for whatever comes next.

Real advice for real hair
Because every texture has its tricks.
Focus on the scalp.
Straight hair distributes oil quickly from root to tip, so give the scalp a real massage and let suds run through lengths.
Scrunch while you lather.
Your waves need cleansing that doesn't flatten or frizz.
Scrunch while shampooing and rinsing to encourage your natural pattern.
Wet hair really, really well first.
Curly hair is naturally drier, which means your curls need LOTS of water before shampooing. Soak them, then add shampoo.
Section before you start.
Dilute your shampoo with water for gentler distribution through dense textures. Part your hair into 4-6 sections and wash one section at a time. Takes longer but works better.

Why wash your hair anyway?
All your questions, answered.
Yes. Our gentle, sulfate-free formula is designed to cleanse thoroughly without stripping the scalp’s natural oils, making it safe and effective for daily washing at every developmental stage.
A healthy scalp has a slightly acidic pH of around 4.5–5.5, which protects against bacteria and environmental irritants. Many shampoos are too alkaline, disrupting this balance. Our formula is matched to that natural pH, so it cleanses without disturbing the scalp’s protective barrier.
Fipl Shampoo is formulated for children ages 4–12. For children under 2, we recommend consulting your pediatrician before use, as scalp chemistry and hair needs are different in the earliest years.
Absolutely. For curly hair, make sure strands are fully saturated before applying—curls need more water to absorb shampoo evenly. For coily or dense textures, try diluting with a small amount of water for gentler, more even distribution, and consider washing in sections. The formula works across all textures.
Start with 1 pump for shorter or finer hair, and 2 pumps for longer or thicker hair. Our easy-press pump is designed to dispense just the right amount—so there’s no over-applying and no waste.
It works beautifully on its own, but pairing with Fipl Conditioner gives the best results. The shampoo prepares the scalp and hair at an optimal pH for conditioning, and the two formulas are designed to complement each other for a complete cleansing and strengthening routine.
Our formula is designed to be gentle, but it’s not specifically formulated as an eye cleanser. We recommend keeping it away from eyes, as you would with any shampoo. Apply to the scalp first and let the rinse carry it through the ends.
Aloe vera soothes the scalp and helps maintain healthy pH, while jojoba oil balances oil production, both of which support overall scalp health. If your child has persistent dandruff or scalp concerns, we recommend consulting a dermatologist for a targeted treatment.
Most kids’ shampoos are formulated around fragrance and color, with ingredient lists that don’t hold up to scrutiny. Fipl is EWG Verified, sulfate-free, and built on aloe vera and jojoba oil, ingredients chosen for how they actually work with developing hair and scalp chemistry, not just how they smell. One formula that adapts from preschool to pre-teen.
